As a progressive country, Canada has a long way to go to meet  the basic needs of its' most vulnerable citizens.  I see opportunity where design is concerned to help long term patients suffering with dementia who become separated from their loved ones, homelessness and low income housing.  These are just a few examples of special communities for the vulnerable that need to have specialized design concepts.
